·      Let’s pray and then hop into another fun book discussion! Lord, thank you for each person who listens to this episode. I ask that you guide and protect them as they live out Your will. In Jesus name I pray.

In this episode Tiffanie, Jamie, and Melissa discuss the second novella in Sara R. Turnquist’s Cripple Creek series, Leaving StoneyBrook.

This novella picks up with Tom and Lauren’s son, David. You’ll enjoy seeing the ranch and family Tom and Lauren have built for themselves. We loved how they turned out as parents, and you will too.

Of course, as we mentioned in last week’s episode, Tom finally experiences what his father felt when he left home to make a name for himself. David is determined to not live under his father’s shadow and strikes out on his own. This causes a rift between father and son, that is slow in healing.

Mary faces many challenges as her mother’s health suffers and she watches the man she loves leave town to follow his dreams. Her sweet disposition and quiet faith will capture your heart.

LiteraryScape gives Leaving StoneyBrook by Sara R. Turnquist 3 out of 3 lassos! We are sure this novella will have you hooked, and hog tied from beginning to end.
