·      Christmas is just around the corner and today’s episode highlights the true reason we celebrate this season, Jesus Christ. Isn’t it just amazing when you stop and think about how much God loves you and me? He left His throne in Heaven to be with us. It gives me chills just thinking about it. I wanted to remind everyone that our inspirational Monday moments will return after the first of the year. We have some great topics and scripture for you. Be sure to sign-up for the LiteraryScape newsletter to receive these inspirational moments every week.

·      Let’s pray and then hop into this inspirational book discussion. Dear Lord, thank you for leaving your throne in Heaven to save us from our sins. I ask that you would be with each of us as we celebrate this Christmas season with family and friends. Soften our hearts toward you and help us to keep our focus on you during this busy holiday season. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Podcast Notes:

In this episode Tiffanie, Jamie, and Melissa discuss the second novel in Sara R. Turnquists Cripple Creek series titled, Christmas in Cripple Creek.

If you enjoy sweet Christmas romances where the hero and leading lady overcome many obstacles to find the true meaning of Christmas at the finish line, then this is the book for you.

Sara keeps Wyatt and Katherine’s love and family at the center of this Christmas story. Like all families and relationships, we hit rough patches, and sometimes it feels like we can’t catch a break. Yet when we finally crawl out of the valley and stand on the mountain top with Jesus, we can turn to Him and say thank you. That’s because from the mountain top view we can finally see how He refined us in the valley to make us more like Him.

I can’t help but pause in my writing and sit in awe of all Jesus has done for you and me? I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to celebrate His birthday with friends and family!

Now back to the book!

Sara takes Wyatt and Katherine through this miraculous valley and mountaintop experience; in ways you would not expect. I have to say this book held the most surprises out of all her Cripple Creek books. In the end you’ll fall more in love with these two characters and their family, and you’ll be inspired by the way they live out their faith in God.

Matthew 1:20-23: But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

Joseph and Mary lived out their faith in God as well. What an incredible testimony they left behind.

LiteraryScape gives Christmas in Cripple Creek 3 out of 3 lassos! We are sure this Christmas story will have you hooked and hog-tied from beginning to end.
