Which makes her the best fit for Josiah, who is chivalrous romantic with a propensity to flirt and save a damsel in distress. However, when he finds the one, he is hopelessly devoted, and Gwen finds all his flirtations focused on her!

These verses from Titus are so encouraging as we face our temptations and vices on a daily basis. We all have them. Maybe for you it’s gossip, or lust, or alcohol, or vanity, or pride. Whatever the temptation or vice is, we have the strength to turn away from it when we turn to God.

When I think about grace, I always pair it with mercy which is forgiving and compassionate. I was once told that mercy is God sparing us from his full wrath because of our sin. Basically, sparing us from the punishment we deserve because of our sin. Grace is what God extends to us when we repent and turn to Him.
